A Visionary Leader

George is a young African democrat. He is contagiously enthusiastic, relentlessly creative and socially engaging. His passion and energy for life is contagious, he has loves to work for the orphans, the minorities and the underprivileged.

George is an authority in matters of Youth leadership; he has been consistent to influence Policy change in Kenya and the region. He was consulted in formulating the Kenya National Youth Policy, the Daystar University HIV/AIDS & Drugs policy, recreating the Republic Project; Agenda 2020, the National Mediation and Dialogue Roadmap, the MS international Anti- Corruption Policy among others.

George serves in different capacities with several organizations including the Global Change Makers Alumni and Concerned Citizens for Peace [PDF]. He is a trainer in Poverty reduction strategies, Youth enterprise development, Managing Youth Programs, and MDG’s mainstreaming for the British Council and The World Bank. He is currently the Project Coordinator of a United Nations supported national youth peace building initiative Picha Mtaani.

George was profiled by The Nation Media Group and Generation 45: as Kenya’s young champion under 45, he was also awarded the DUSA – Star of Excellence Award for servant leadership and honored for his exceptional service in the order of appreciation by the African Union Moot Summit of Makerere University.

In the course of his work, George has interacted with HE. Hillary Rodham Clinton – Secretary of State, USA. HE. Kofi Annan – former UN secretary general. HE Paul Kagame – President Rwanda. HE. Jacob Zuma – President South Africa [2009], Gracà Machelle – South Africa, Dr Ngozi Okonjo- Iweala, Managing Director, World Bank, and Prof Klaus Schwab, Executive Chairman, World Economic Forum among others.
